The easiest way to put your quilt in a quilt cover
I have struggled and wrestled for years trying to get my quilt into it's cover. I would get lumps and bumps or worst of all put it on the wrong way all together and I'd have to start again - please tell me I am not alone?!?
Today, I discovered a really quick, easy and hassle free way to complete this frustrating task. Check it out below!
Step 1: Hang your quilt on the clothes line and turn your quilt cover inside out.
Hang your quilt on the clothes line
Step 2: Put your arms into the quilt cover and reach to the corners furthest away. Using a pinching action, pick up the corners of the quilt and start to slide the quilt cover over the quilt.
Step 3:Using heavy duty pegs, peg the newly fitted quilt and quilt cover to the outside line.
Youre already half way there
Step 4:Take the pegs off the other end of the quilt and let it drop to full length.
Almost there, simply slide the quilt cover down the remaining bare quilt
Step 5: Simply slide the quilt cover over the remaining bare quilt and zip or button it up. That's it - no shaking, no wrangling, no lumps and bumps.
And youre done how easy is that
Give it a try and let me know how you go! Do you have any other tips for making this job easier?
