Home Hint 3 How to hang woollen jumpers to dry

Official washing advice on woollen sweaters normally instructs you to dry them flat but this isn't always possible... so what's the next best thing to do?



First, after washing it, roll the sweater in a towel and squeeze it gently to remove as much water as possible.

Next thread an old pair of tights through the sleeves, then peg that to your washing line, at the cuffs and the neck. The tights will support the sweater and prevent it from sagging between the pegs.
