Cooking under the grill can be a messy business. How many hours do you think you have spent trying to get baked on food, oil and grime off your grill? What would you say if I could show you a trick that made cleaning your grill as easy as 1-2-3?
Follow these easy steps and you will eliminate the hard slog of cleaning the grill.
A clean grill, but don't make the rooky mistake of cooking on a naked grill
Step 1: Dress your grill Line the metal grill plate with aluminium foil. The aluminium foil will stop any crumbs, fat or gooey cheese from dripping through to the grill base.
If cooking on a naked grill, this is what creates the mess, then the heat from the grill bakes them onto the base tray. If left over time, they will continue to bake onto the tray and get harder and harder to remove.

Step 2: Cook your little heart out Get grilling. Whether your cooking cheese on toast, sausages, bruschetta or fish fingers, a 'dressed' grill is ready for anything you can throw at it.
Let the aluminium foil catch the mess from your cooking
Step 3: Peel and wipe When you've finished cooking, simply peel the aluminium foil off the grill plate and gently wipe the grill and base tray to remove any sticky or oily residue.
Repeat step 1 and your grill is ready for the next time you need it. No scrubbing or soaking, it's as simple as 1-2-3.
You can even use the same aluminium foil a couple of times, if it isn't messy enough the first time!
