I live in an area of England with very hard water. This means build up of limescale is a common problem. My glass shower screen now has white patches of limescale all over it and it doesn't come off with conventional cleaners. Any advice?
Use some bleach, or some white vinegar. Otherwise, a heavy duty shower cleaner also does the trick. Ozkleen Mould Power has also worked for me. Not to mention Sugar Scrub.
Bleach can eat into the glass and cause a kind of cancer, however Sugar soap diluted with water cleans the glass, then if you polish the screen with car polish, the water will then bead off!
