12 Natural Cleaning Tricks For Your Home

If you're looking for a way to get rid of the clutter of chemical filed cleaning products stored in your home, there are a wide variety of alternatives to clean everything in your home.

1. Clean Your Bathtub With Grapefruit and Salt
One grapefruit and a bit of salt will do the trick. No kidding. Sprinkle salt onto half of a grapefruit and use it to scrub the tub and fixtures, it'll smell amazing!

2. Use Salt To Clean Your Iron
Just pour some salt onto your ironing board or a flat surface and iron it. All the stains on your iron will disappear and it'll look brand new.

3. Make Your Own Wood Polish
To make your own wood polish, you will need one lemon, some olive oil and water. Squeeze lemon in a small container and add tablespoon of olive oil and tablespoon of water. Shake the container and youíre ready to start polishing your furniture.

4.Fireplace Glass Blackend?
This tip is so easy that itís hard to believe that it really works. All you need is a paper towel and some ashes from your fireplace. Dip the wet towel in the ashes and clean the glass.

5. Hard Water Stains?
Lemon juice will make hard water stain disappear from your bathroom fixtures in a snap.

6. Cleaning Your Oven Without Chemicals
If cleaning your oven immediately gives you headache from those smelly chemicals, try sprinkling a cup of baking soda all over your oven and then spray vinegar all over it. Let it sit that way for about 20 minutes and then start scrubbing.

7. Easy Microwave Cleaning
To clean a messy microwave in just few minutes just pour a bit of vinegar and water into a bowl and heat it in the microwave for about 4 minutes. You should be able to wipe it clean with ease.

8. Stainless Steel Appliances
They can be tough to keep fingerprint free, but your appliances will look shiny and new with this simple trick. Just use baby oil and everything will be shining.

9. Cleaning Stained Carpet
If your carpet also has stains on it, mix up one part white vinegar with two parts water. Pour it into a spray bottle and spray it over the stain. Then you have to cover it with a damp rag and iron it for about 30 seconds to see a huge difference.

10. Homemade Glass Cleaner
You will need one cup of distilled white vinegar, two cups water. Put it in a spray bottle and shake it well. Thatís it, your glass cleaner is ready to use.

Following these handy hints will allow your home to be greener and assist in cleaning out the clutter of chemically heavy household cleaners.
